For over two decades Range Media has been at the forefront of multimedia technology, delivering a number of industry-firsts. In 2004 we produced the first fully interactive catalogue for a stud bull sale on CD-Rom. The outstanding success of this concept prompted us to look at how we could make the product even more user-friendly and in 2006 we debuted a fully interactive online bull sale catalogue (click here for an example), which included video clips of every sale lot, photos, pedigree and EBV detail and interviews with the vendor. We've since expanded the concept to the point where we now host online conference proceedings for one of Australia's pre-eminent research organisations (click here for a link to the Grains Research and Development Corporation's 2011 Research Updates proceedings). We were also the first to offer live video steaming of a stud stock sale in conjunction with online auctioneers AuctionsPlus (click here for an example).
